If you have the unenviable task of organising a stag do for your best mate in London, you had better pay attention! There are plenty of pit falls to be avoided if you want to have a great time!

To start off with, you need to find some accommodation. Most people in groups like this are looking for cheap hotels in London. This is fine, but you have to make sure that the hotel in question is close to the action. You don’t want to sacrifice location for price, otherwise you will be spending most of time travelling, instead of drinking! I would recommend finding something within a couple of miles of the West End. This way there is always going to be somewhere for you to go no matter what you want to do.

Another piece of advice is to stick to establishments that are in the most public areas. Anything in the West End is fine. If you start wandering out of the built up areas, you will probably find yourself in a pub which is frequented mostly by local regulars looking for a quiet drink, and they might not take too kindly to a group of rowdy lads taking over their pub.

If you want to finish off the night at a Lap Dancing club, it might be a good idea to get in touch before you actually visit. A lot of the clubs can offer special stage shows for the stag, which will be a crowning moment – if not for him, then for all of his very amused friends!

Here is my list of the best Chocolatiers in Paris. I haven’t tried every one myself, but it is my mission to do so. Some of the recommendations are from my other chocoholic friends.

A la Petite Fabrique

In this boutique, where they actually make the chocolate, you can choose from some 40 different chocolates, including ganaches, giandujas, bouchées with liqueur, pralines or palet d’or variations. You’ll find chocolate bars that combine cocoa with more than 16 other flavors including the new fad, tea. They sell an excellent hot chocolate mix to take along home. The aroma of the chocolate is inducement enough to step inside and breathe deep!

Angelina

Famous for their excellent hot chocolate, this centrally located tearoom on the Rue de Rivoli is a tourist hang-out. There is usually a line to get in. Its “Chocolat a l’Africain,” is a creamy and rich hot drink is so decadent that you will want to take home a box or two of their hot-chocolate mix.

Chocotruffe

Madame Tissier offers chocolate lovers creations that are associated with certain holidays. She offers very creative chocolates… African masks, and special toy-shaped chocolates for kids. A favorite of Patricia Wells who recommends it in her book A Food-Lovers Guide to Paris.

Christian Constant

In this chocolate shop and tearoom on a residential street near the Luxembourg Gardens, Mr. Constant’s sophisticated chocolates are made with exotic ingredients like ylang-ylang, rose, lavendar and orange water. He is also famous for his tea-infused chocolates, some using Ceylon tea and green tea perfumed with Yemen Jasmine.

Debauve and Gallais

For years travelers have flocked to the legendary Debauve & Gallais store on Paris’ Left Bank, filling suitcases with the very best of chocolates. Appointed the official chocolatier to the French court, Debauve & Gallais has since built a following among chocoholics, gourmands, and connoisseurs all over the world. The American website gives you a sample of what awaits in Paris.

Jean-Paul Hivin

Impeccable chocolates and pastries with packaging in gold and blue. Jean-Paul Hivin also has a delightful tearoom offering salads and sandwiches in a calm setting with Roman-arched windows and wood-paneled walls. The “Longchamp,” is their signature pastry made with chocolate praline, hazelnut biscuit, meringue, chocolate and almonds.

La Maison du Chocolat

Founded in 1977 by Robert Linxe, La Maison du Chocolat has expanded to from Tokyo to New York City. The classic hand crafted chocolates are known for their silky-smooth fillings. Try the chocolate bonbons flavored with such interesting ingredients as raspberry, fennel, lemon or thyme. The philosophy of “chocolat without bitterness” has led to the use of only the best cocoa beans and only cocoa butter in the production of the chocolat delicacies.

Michel Chaudun

In this charming shop filled with antique chocolate molds and chocolate-related objects, Mr. Chaudun, a former employee of La Maison du Chocolate, offers superb chocolates with an artisanal bent. He incorporates tiny fragments of toasted, crushed cocoa beans into his chocolate and creates beautiful ganaches such as his ginger ganache infused with tiny grains of candied ginger.

Puyricard

Founded in the small village of Puyricard in the South of France, this chocolatier has been established in Paris for at least 20 years. There are shops throughout France and two in Paris. The shops are decorated with Provençal furnishings reminding you of its origins. There you’ll find a wide range of different candies including ganaches, caramels, and filled chocolates with mocha, marzipan, figs, and more, as well as pralines.

While you are there, why not book once of the Paris hotels to extend your stay? Just don’t get chocolate on the sheets. . .

Most people agree that New York City offers more fine dining restaurants than almost anywhere else in the world. Most of them you will find in the downtown New York City area and some are located in New York hotels. Greenwich Village, SoHo and Tribeca offer you more options than most people know what to do with. In this article, I will give your guide to getting the most out of New York City fine dining.

In the Greenwich Village, a restaurant you must visit is the II Cantinori. It’s a very charming Italian restaurant, resembling a farmhouse with a variety of different meal preparations. Especially tasty or the pasta specialties and imported mullusk in risotto. Most people have reported very satisfactory and attentive service at the Il Cantinori.

For southwestern meals, consider the Mesa Grill. This is the restaurant of the famous chef Bobby Flay. Bold and distinctive sauces are the highlight of the meals, especially for the spice rubbed New York strip steak with a homemade Mesa steak sauce. The desserts are also highly recommended to try. And if you love tequila, you have an option of 20 different flavors.

The Periyali is another wonderful Greenwich Village option, also opened by the same people that started the II Cantinori. The Periyali specializes in classical Greek foods, making for excellent New York City fine dining. If you’re going to eat here, it is recommended you try either the fava or pan seared calf’s liver as an entr?e. Both are excellent choices.

And for American cuisine, check out the Gotham Bar and Grill. The high ceiling dining room, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a very energetic atmosphere offers a beautiful environment, but also provides intimacy as well, because of the design. In addition to the new American cuisine offered here, it is a must that you try the wines as well.

In conclusion, I have given you some different options for New York City fine dining, based on a variety of different restaurants. Each offers its own special cuisines and environments. Put them on your list, and make it your goal to check them all out at least once during your lifetime.

Barcelona At Night – 5 Things To Do At Night In Barcelona

Barcelona is excellent in the daytime with the wonderful beaches surrounding this city, in addition to the amazing museums, galleries, Barcelona hotels, shopping and parks. There is simply plenty to do in the daytime, particularly on a pleasant day. There is also though plenty to do in the evenings in Barcelona and we discuss some ideas below.

1. Visit the ‘Magic Fountain of Montjuic’ and see one of the quite amazing fireworks displays, with the fireworks set to the sound of classical music. The free performances take place at the Placa Espanya in the summer months and winter months in the evenings, usually on Fridays and Saturdays. Days and times vary and you can find out exact information from the local tourist office.

2. Go to an FC Barcelona match. The Nou Camp Stadium is considered to be one of the finest football stadiums in the world. Holding almost 100,000 people, the Nou camp is home to the mighty FC Barcelona. You can usually buy tickets for the Barcelona home games although Champions League games are often sold out in advance so book early.

Amsterdam Red Light District Guide – A Short Walking Tour Of A Mysterious Yet Beautiful Place

The Amsterdam red light district is probably the most famous of all in the whole world but what exactly lies within this tiny and mysterious area?

Actually, this part of town contains some beautiful architecture and some of the most picturesque scenes in Amsterdam. Nearly all tourists who visit The Netherlands make a visit to the Amsterdam red light district and most find the experience incredibly fascinating.

The single biggest major landmark here is De Oude Kerk which translates as “The Old Church”. This is not merely the oldest church in Amsterdam but is also the oldest building in Amsterdam. It dates from the 13th century and has seen fire damage and subsequent restoration but remains a beautiful building – not only are its exterior gothic features a joy to behold, but the interior also houses an impressive large organ. Rembrandt’s first wife, Saskia van Uylenburgh, is also buried here.

Here in the Amsterdam red light district, prostitution has been legalised resulting in a safe environment for all – witness families and tourists alike wandering around enjoying the sights and sounds, and busy locals cutting through the numerous alleyways as short cuts en route to their final destination.

Speaking of alleyways, the Amsterdam red light district contains the smallest alley in the whole of Holland. Located right in the heart of the district, tourists are often bemused when first walking down Trompettersteeg – at its narrowest point, persons travelling in opposing directions must turn sideways in order to pass!

Canals dominate this part of town and the main drag is along a canal named Oudezijd Achterburgwal which, in my opinion, is one of the prettiest canals in Amsterdam. Come here at night and take a few pictures of your loved ones from one of the bridges – the red lights and reflections from the water make for a pretty picture.

The Best Areas To Live In Bangkok

Bangkok contains inexpensive to exclusive apartments, but the best ones are found in the following regions of Bangkok:

If you are staying for a month or year, the serviced apartment may charge you for electricity. Make sure that you negotiate this price to 6.5 Baht/Unit. A lot of times the apartment owners will charge 8 Baht/Unit for more profit. They only pay 3 or 4 Baht/Unit.

Be careful when signing leases; most require a 2 month deposit, and if you move out before your contract is finished you forfeit this deposit.

Make sure the serviced apartment has a laundry service, either in house or out of house. Most serviced apartments have coin operated laundry rooms as well as pick up services. More deluxe suites will have washing machine in the room. Note that most places do not have dryers.

How much Should I Pay?

This is a difficult question to answer, but the more facilities a serviced apartment has, the more it will cost. If a serviced apartment has a pool, gym and also functions as a 24 hour hotel, then the monthly price will be above 30,000 Baht.

Location also has a large part to do with cost of a bangkok serviced apartment. If you are staying in an area not close to skytrain or subway access, your price will be much lower. Conversely, staying in the business districts of Silom or trendy spots like Ekkamai or Thonglor will raise your monthly rent.

For 36,000 Baht/$1000 a month you can have a 38 square meter, 1 bedroom, fully furnished luxurious apartment complete with full kitchen, washer machine, flat screen tv, and rain shower. The only drawback is the place doesn’t have a pool or gym, but thats the reason the price is so low and why its one of the best values in Bangkok.

If you are still undecided whether to have a stay in Bangkok on your next trip, it was just recently announced that the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) plans to make Bangkok a “paradise” city. The article from the Bangkok Post states the BMA will establish a fund to address trash, pollution and traffic problems. Marrakech Review of Palais Souleiman

If you are looking for a Marrakech hotel or riad that has an excellent location, then look no further! Here is a Marrakech review of Palais Soulieman or Riad Suliman as it is popularly known. This luxury accommodation is conveniently located at the heart of the old medina of Marrakech.

I had a couple of night’s stay at Riad Suliman and I think that makes me a credible source of information regarding this Riad, thus this review. Palais Soulieman is considered to be a jewel when it comes to conventional Moroccan architecture. This grandiose abode was originally built before the turn of the 19th century and is strategically positioned on the road to Fes.

It is pretty much close to all the action and local attractions that the Red City has to offer. Palais Soulieman is a mere 15 minute walk from Djemaa El Fna square and the Souks as well as to the Museum of Marrakech which are very good places to check out and get up-close and personal with the Moroccan culture. This Marrakech review of Palais Soulieman is aimed at giving you accurate information on what to expect from this luxury riad.

This Marrakech Riad has eight luxurious suites that are built around an illuminated courtyard which makes it a romantic and ideally cool setting since it is close to the swimming pool. These suites surely provide all the elegance and distinction that guests would look forward to from a traditional Moroccan palace. These rooms are huge and I find the space to be well allocated to go with its exquisite design.

It also has terraces that reveal a nostalgic view of the old Medina as well as the summits of the Atlas Mountains and the beautiful Marrakech skyline. There are many wonderful qualities of Soulieman that I feel should be mentioned in this review. Let me add that they have their own Turkish bath and massage service which is truly rewarding after a long day of exploring the imperial city of Morocco.

Now, how about a Marrakech review of Riad Suliman’s food? They have a restaurant where you could sample a typical Moroccan dining experience in an informal yet excellent atmosphere with classic Moroccan specialties cooked and served to perfection. Daytime meals are served at the solarium and you can arrange for your dinner to be served at the terrace which I think is a very romantic sanctuary at night. They also have six enormous halls and a huge open air patio that they cover and supply with heat during winter.

To complete this review, I wanted to mention a one of a kind service that I have not seen in any hotel in Morocco. Would you believe that Palais Soulieman has a babysitting service? This is a brilliant idea that they came up with, for couples travelling with children.

Pattaya is the City of Chonburi located near Bangkok, Thailand (147 km) It’s the city of joy & nightlife entertainment . You can always have beer 24 hour a day and sit on the beer counter enjoy drinking with the pretty Pattaya Girl.

Walking Street is the one place that you have to visit once in your life. The place are surrounded with many restaurant, pub & bar.

Especially, Thai food and sea food. it’s very delicious and the price is also reasonable. After finished your meal you can sit back, relax or go for a walk to any pub that have live music or the Karaoke night club also available.

During the day times, you can enjoy your sun bahting or there’s a lot of attracting place that you should visit such as the mini siam, Royal garden pattaya, Believe it or not by Ripley, Alangkarn Show, Tiffany & Alcaza Show, under water world.

If you want to visit the natural place there’s “Suan Nong Nuch Garden” it’s very beautiful garden also you can enjoy your life on the beach all day long especially, Jomtien beach it’s very quite beach.

Why I suggest you to Pattaya? at this point you might know or not quite sure yet. Another thing that will make you want to go to Pattaya during your vacation is the Accomodation.

There’s a lot of Accomodation type you can choose to stay in Pattaya. If you have a lot of times of your Vacation. (mostly do)

I suggest you to stay in the longstay apartment or guest house and bargain them for the best price, Acutally the price will range between 300-500 USD per month(included everything). It will make you save extra money to use for other things rather than paying for the hotel charge rooms and you can enjoy everything exactly the same as one who choose to live in hotel as well as the service.

Till now it’s all up to you where you should to go, but for me I think Pattaya is the place to go & visit once in the life times.

Hidden nightly parking fees Prices quoted per person, and not for up to the total maximum sleeping capacity of the property Deals where availability is suddenly sold out, so you have to call someone-watch out, you will be upsold. Hidden sales taxes, like the 10% non-refundable sales tax. Blind booking, where you are not given the name of the property you are staying in until after you have paid for it.
